10FT HDMI GOLD DIGITAL VIDEO CABLCABLE HDMI M/M

Buy 10FT HDMI GOLD DIGITAL VIDEO CABLCABLE HDMI M/M

Tripp Lite's 10ft HDMI - HDMI ( High Definition Multimedia Interface ) cable allows interconnection between digital display devices, such as DTV's ( Digital Television ), Plasma displays, LCD TV's, and projectors, to Digital source devices, such as Digital Set-Top boxes, DVD/DVD-R players, and AV receivers. HDMI assures that the best video signal is always sent from source (HDTV signal, DVD Player....) to the display (Projection Television or Plasma). It does this by allowing uncompressed video and multi-channel audio data to be input to the display device through one single cable. The need for multiple analog connections for high-resolution audio and video are eliminated. Without a HDMI connection, one would need 3 video connections for high definition video and 6 audio connections for high-resolution audio. An HDMI connection allows input at high rates of speed, up to 5 Gbps. This leaves a lot of spare capacity for future applications; for example, a current uncompressed HD movie only requires 2.2 Gbps for both video and multi-channel audio. Tripp Lite Lifetime Warranty.

Tele-Visionaries

This excellent publication provides a historical background of the dream of sight/sound extension by electric means and identification of the major participants is given. The book examines the foremost problem delaying the early progress of television and explores how the development of full-colour television by examining the inventions needed to achieve the dream, the people who produced them, the role of the motion picture industry, and more.
* Offers both a personal historical perspective of the development of television and an overview of the technology
* A unique opportunity to learn of the beginnings of television from one of RCA`s pioneering engineers

Transport Phenomena in Partially Ionized Plasma

Transport phenomena in plasmas are the relatively slow processes of particle, momentum and energy transport in systems in a state of mechanical equilibrium. In contrast to neutral gases, these phenomena in plasmas are greatly influenced by self-consistent fields, in particular, electric fields. These can produce particle and energy fluxes, in addition to those generated by the homogeneity of the plasma composition and temperature. As a result, the physical effects accompanying transport phenomena in plasmas are far more numerous and complicated than those in neutral gases, and the solution of corresponding problems is more difficult. The effects however, are usually far more interesting and sometimes surprising.
Presenting a systematic survey and analysis of the main mechanisms of transport phenomena in plasma this book also gives examples of gradually increasing complexity to illustrate these mechanisms and the relationships between them. Special attention is paid to the analysis... Transport Phenomena in Partially Ionized Plasma

Applications to Nonthermal Plasma Processing

This book is written for physicists and engineers, familiar with the principles of industrial plasma engineering, and who need to obtain a thorough understanding of how plasma applications may be used in industry, from consumer, to sensitive military applications. Coverage includes:
-- plasma treatment of surfaces -- ion interactions with solids -- plasma deposition of thin films -- plasma etching for microelectronics -- materials processing with thermal plasma -- techniques for synthetic and destructive plasma chemistry -- plasma-related topics of concern to electrical utilities -- plasma lighting devices. It contains comprehensive references to primary research, and to industrial patents. It includes appendices which explain particular topics in full. A comprehensive index, and use of standard SI units throughout, ensure that this text will become an essential reference for all studying plasma applications, whether working in semiconductor or electronics fabrication, materials... The Framework of Plasma Physics

Plasma physics is a necessary part of our understanding of stellar and galactic structure; it determines the magnetospheric environment of the earth and other planets; it forms the research frontier in such areas as nuclear fusion, advanced accelerators, and high power lasers; and its applications to various industrial processes (such as computer chip manufacture) are rapidly increasing. Thus, it is a subject with a long list of scientific and technological applications. This book provides the scientific background for understanding such applications, but it emphasizes something else: the intrinsic scientific interest of the plasma state. It attempts to develop an understanding of this state, and of plasma behavior, as thoroughly and systematically as possible. The book was written with the graduate student in mind, but most of the material would also fit into an upper-level undergraduate course.
